Unfortunately since re-opening the chatroom at the start of the year very little has changed in terms of the problems it brings.

The pretend and fantasy parents are one thing - we'll always expect them, and are easy to spot and get rid of.

On the other hand, the amount of users using the chatroom for purposes obviously unrelated to spanking (read: pedo and borderline pedo) is just ridiculous. The fact that they still do these things in spite of huge warnings in several places that they are being logged is just mindboggling.

I often wondered how people could be so stupid as to get involved in stings and such on shows like "To Catch A Predator". After going through the chat logs, let's just say I don't wonder anymore.

What are we going to about it? It's quite simple.

Soon, within a few weeks, we're going to be posting publicly the chat logs of people engaged in these behaviors - again pedo and borderline pedo. These chat logs include full timestamps and ip addresses. Anyone will be able to view them. Like you or I. Or some overzealous organizations in liberal countries. Or even the authorities. I imagine many psychologists will find them interesting reads as well!

Those of you who engage in this behaviors, you know who you are.

Bottom line is this: if you don't want your chat logs posted, reply to me ( neil@parentingwithcptoday.com ) with a compelling offer as to why we shouldn't post them.
